Graduation from the Broadview Adult Education Center
On December 13th, Broadview Learning Center had it's Graduation and Honors Night. Congratulations to Sister Sullivan who not only received her certificate of learning, but was inducted into the 2018 Adult Education National Honor Society. She was one of three students to address the graduates and guests on this momentous day that brought more than one of us to tears! We are so very proud of Sister Renee!

SBC had the honor of being the venue for the filming of a portion of an upcoming documentary about the group. Members of SBC were given the opportunity to be an audience to a performance on October 19, 2019 and were given a truly wonderful experience. We thank them for thinking of us.

We have DVDs of the documentary available for$15.00. Proceeds will be used to purchase written materials to go along with the DVD that will be distributed to MCCSC Schools.
Second Baptist Church celebrated Pastor Rose's 16th Anniversary on September 8, 2019 with guest speaker, Rev. Dr. Robert Smith
On Sunday, February 3, 2019, Second Baptist Church hosted the documentary, Marvin Chandler - Open to the Moment, at the Buskirk Chumley Theater in Bloomington, IN. It was a fitting tribute to a remarkable man who has blessed us with so much. Thank you to all who made the documentary and the moment possible.
The Missionary Ladies prepared cookies for the police and fire stations around Bloomington.
