Members of Second Baptist Church had the opportunity to visit Ark Encounter in Williamstown, KY on May 19, 2018. From its website: “Experience Bible history at the life-size Noah’s Ark! Meet Noah, his family, and the animals on the Ark. The family-friendly Ark Encounter theme park near Cincinnati also features a zoo, zip lines, and timber-frame restaurant.” http://www.arkencounter.com
The exhibit’s attention to detail made the Bible come to life for many. Others found it so enlightening.

SBC had the honor of being the venue for the filming of a portion of an upcoming documentary about the group. Members of SBC were given the opportunity to be an audience to a performance on October 19, 2019 and were given a truly wonderful experience. We thank them for thinking of us.

We have DVDs of the documentary available for$15.00. Proceeds will be used to purchase written materials to go along with the DVD that will be distributed to MCCSC Schools.
Second Baptist Church celebrated Pastor Rose's 16th Anniversary on September 8, 2019 with guest speaker, Rev. Dr. Robert Smith
On Sunday, February 3, 2019, Second Baptist Church hosted the documentary, Marvin Chandler - Open to the Moment, at the Buskirk Chumley Theater in Bloomington, IN. It was a fitting tribute to a remarkable man who has blessed us with so much. Thank you to all who made the documentary and the moment possible.
