The Good News blog focus is to spread the gospel, especially to the youth. We're reaching out to start conversations from all walks of life on the best avenues to spread the birth, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ. In this world is it about the gospel or about being entertained? It's time to ask the question because everyone has a soul. One thing is true you will spend eternity in heaven or hell. I don't want anybody to die and your soul to awake without Jesus. Only positive replies are posted.

SBC had the honor of being the venue for the filming of a portion of an upcoming documentary about the group. Members of SBC were given the opportunity to be an audience to a performance on October 19, 2019 and were given a truly wonderful experience. We thank them for thinking of us.

We have DVDs of the documentary available for$15.00. Proceeds will be used to purchase written materials to go along with the DVD that will be distributed to MCCSC Schools.
Second Baptist Church celebrated Pastor Rose's 16th Anniversary on September 8, 2019 with guest speaker, Rev. Dr. Robert Smith
On Sunday, February 3, 2019, Second Baptist Church hosted the documentary, Marvin Chandler - Open to the Moment, at the Buskirk Chumley Theater in Bloomington, IN. It was a fitting tribute to a remarkable man who has blessed us with so much. Thank you to all who made the documentary and the moment possible.
